The community is expected to immediately carry out activities as usual, but in a new way. According to President Jokowi, the government will arrange so that people’s lives can gradually proceed normally.

Life that has been changed due to a pandemic is unavoidable. Therefore, Jokowi stated that the community must be able to coexist with Covid-19. The assumption used in the concept of a new normal life is that the corona virus cannot be eradicated in the near future.

New Normal Life Guide Specifically For Workers

The guide is divided into when traveling to work, while at work and when returning home.

On your way to work:

  1. Workers must be in good health. If there are complaints of cough, runny nose, fever, it is advisable to stay at home.
  2. During the trip, asked to wear a mask.
  3. As much as possible do not use public transportation. If forced to use public transportation, it is advisable to keep a distance from others at least 1 meter. Do not often touch public facilities and use a hand sanitizer.
  4. Payment for public transportation is recommended to use non-cash transactions. If forced to hold money to immediately use a hand sanitizer afterwards.
  5. During the trip, try not to touch your face or rub your eyes with your hands or use clean tissue if you have to.

When arriving and at work:

  1. Wash your hands immediately with soap and running water.
  2. Try to use your elbows to open the door and push the elevator button. Expected not to congregate and keep a distance on the elevator with their backs to each other.
  3. Clean the table / work area with disinfectant.
  4. Do not often touch the facilities / equipment that are shared in the work area. As for if you have touched in order to immediately use the hand sanitizer.
  5. Keep a distance from colleagues at least 1 meter.
  6. Try the flow of air and sunlight into the workspace.
  7. Discipline wearing a mask and getting used to not shake hands.

When returning home:

  1. Do not come in contact with family members before cleaning themselves (bathing and changing work clothes).
  2. It is recommended that wash clothes and masks immediately with detergent.
  3. If you feel the need to clean mobile phones, glasses, bags with disinfectants.
  4. Increase endurance with consumption of balanced nutrition, physical activity of at least 30 minutes per day, adequate rest (sleep at least 7 hours), sunbathe in the morning.
  5. Be more careful if you have degenerative diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary disorders and kidney disorders or immunocompromised conditions / autoimmune diseases and pregnancy.
  6. Strive for degenerative diseases always under controlled conditions.
