Pa’Piong Bo ‘bo’ is one of Toraja’s unique foods. This food is quite similar to Pa ‘Piong pork, only it is made from rice which has been mixed with several other spices. The cooking method is quite similar to the usual Pa ‘Piong. put in bamboo and then burned. but what is different is that the inside of the bamboo is covered with dun bananas first.

Pa ‘Piong Bo’ bo ‘is usually served at thanksgiving events, weddings and other events. many people eat these foods as snacks. and people can eat it without using side dishes because the rice from Pa ‘Piong Bo’ bo ‘already has taste so people don’t need side dishes anymore. This food has become a favorite food of the Toraja people.
