Based on the monitoring by detik.com on Jl MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Thursday (8/10/2020) at 17:34 WIB, the Sarinah bus stop was caught in flames. Black smoke covered the road.
Demonstrators passed around the burnt stop. Until now, the fire has not been extinguished.
In addition to the Sarinah TransJ Bus Stop, the HI Roundabout Bus Stop was burned by the masses. This was confirmed by the Central Jakarta Damkar officer, Agus.
“Yes, the masses burned it down,” said Agus.
Previously it was reported that the masses this afternoon were concentrated at various points in Jakarta. At least, there were masses at the Harmoni intersection, Tugu Tani, Horse Statue, and HI Roundabout.
